Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps. You can find ’em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

Environmentalist James Yang has developed Lazy Green, an US$1.99 iPhone game app that helps “lazy environmentalists” save energy by raising animals threatened by climate change. In order to raise the animals, the player has to perform easy energy-saving tasks recommended in the game. The player can choose to raise one of five animals threatened by climate change — the polar bear, penguin, lion, hummingbird, and sea turtle.

Third Chicken has released the “Shake the States — Fun Games for Kids Series” app ($0.99) for the iPad. Just shake the iPad and the states drop and bounce. Your goal is to put them all in the right place.

Evetone Labs has introduced Hidden HD 1.0 for iPad. The $2.99 app allows for protecting one’s private files behind a password and is capable of importing files from a computer, exporting them back and resetting the password via a recovery question. Photos and video can be copied to iTunes, and photos can also be copied to the device media library. The app features integrated help on how to use iTunes File Sharing to import files from a computer and in-app email support for both photos and videos.

MH Riley has unveiled Alarm Royale 1.0 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Alarm Royale caters to all those who are looking forward to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. It boasts an alarm clock, a host of Royal Wedding facts that can be shared with family and friends, and an integrated countdown timer.

Suburban Industries has created Superstash for the iPad. This $2.99 web browser allows you to take screenshots of any image or page on the web, annotate it, share with friends and colleagues, or file it for future reference. You can add intelligent meta-data to any image with a resizable pen or text tool and either share via email or store in folders you create in Superstash’s built-in library.

Objective App has developed Photo Info Viewer 1.0 for the iPad. The $0.99 app allows users to display all the metadata stored in their photos. You can switch between three display modes: Photo View, Photo Info, Photo Map. The information being displayed includes date, camera settings and photo location.

SporTracker has kicked off SporTracker 1.0 for iOS devices. Using built-in iPhone GPS and motion sensors, the $4.99 app takes control over the body parameters allowing its users to concentrate on their activities.

Studio Spogg AB has debuted Alice’s Fabulous Fall to Wonderland for the iPhone and iPod touch. The objective of this $0.99 puzzle game is to steer Alice through 36 maps where nothing is as it seems. Gravity can shift at will and secret passages may lurk behind every nook and cranny. Protect Alice from tumbling objects and treacherous enemies while trying to find all of the 222 stars scattered across the chapters.

Just in time for the most romantic day of the year, Lions & Bears is offering YourCards, a free electronic greeting card app for the iPhone and iPod touch. It lets you both send and receive fully animated greeting cards.

Comm-Unity Networking Systems has upgraded CNS Barcode, a barcode scanning and generating app for iPhone/iPod touch/iPad devices running iOS 4.0 or higher.  Version 1.1 adds several customer-requested features and improves scanning on four generation iPod touch devices. CNS Barcode 1.1costs US$14.99. By the way, barcode scanning via a camera isn’t available on iOS devices that lack a camera.

Silicon Soft has announced Liquid Relay 1.1.0, their pipe puzzle game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. As you start each level of the $1.99 game, the pressure builds at the start valve, allowing you a few seconds head start to build your pipe path before the pressure pushes the liquid out of the start valve. This version of Liquid Relay adds a new playing mode (Obstacle mode)  to challenge the player.

Gtune Studio has updated Epeler, their spelling challenge game for iOS devices, to version 1.11. The $0.99 game is designed to make minds think about how many words they can form while under pressure of more and more letter blocks filling up their screen. Users can share their high scores on Facebook and invite their friends to play.

The newest version of RogueSheep’s free RoseGlobe for the iPhone brings compatibility with iOS 4.2. RoseGlobe turns your iPhone into a romantically-themed globe of love. Users can adorn the globe with their own photo, which is filled with heart-shaped petals that react to movement and gravity.

Fidel Lainez has updated his TiltShift Video iOS app to version 2.0. The $1.99 app allows you to apply the tilt-shift effect directly to videos using an iPhone 3GS/4, iPod touch (third or fourth generation) or iPad. During the editing process, the app provides a constant feedback of how the video will look like with the current settings. Version 2.0 includes several new features and makes the app Universal.

James Hollender has released iFiber 1.7, an update of the $1.99 app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It allows you to find out how much fiber there is in well over a thousand different food servings.

EmirBytes has driven Cars.tomizer Pro for iOS devices to version 2.0. Created specifically for petrol heads who love modified vehicles, the $1.99 features customizing features. Just load up a vehicle, and start customizing by painting and add all sorts of parts to it. Version 2.0 offers a remake of the user interface, more parts and new features, and support of the iPhone4 retina display.

Callaway Digital Arts has rolled out a free update to the Martha Stewart Makes Cookies application for iPad, just in time for Valentine’s Day. In addition, Martha Stewart Makes Cookies is available for $2.99 for a limited time (today through Valentine’s Day). An iPhone version of the Martha Stewart Makes Cookies Valentine’s Day update will follow.

Viet Tran has updated Notes Plus, a note-taking utility for the iPad, to version 2.2. The centerpiece of version 2.2’s improvements is the app’s implementation of a complete folder structure. Notes Plus 2.2 ($5.99) now comes equipped with folder implementation. The app’s recording feature has also been altered to allow users to keep recording audio even if they exit out of the app itself, while the app’s skin and icon designs were redesigned.

MotionX has once again updated MotionX-GPS Drive for iOS devices. The app delivers door-to-door navigation solution for those who want to avoid traffic congestion and reduce driving times. The new version adds Live Traffic and spoken street names. To celebrate the iPhone’s arrival at Verizon, MotionX-GPS for the iPhone is available for $0.99 until March 15.
