Panorama Sheets for Mac OS x combines database, spreadsheet features

ProVue Development has released Panorama Sheets, a new Mac OS X application that combines the power of a database with the familiar simplicity of a spreadsheet for only $39.95.

All database operations are RAM based in order to run quickly, and all data entry, searching, sorting, data analysis and data manipulation is handled using a straightforward spreadsheet-like interface. Data can be imported or exported to/from text files and spreadsheets, and can be printed in tabular format or using standard Avery mailing label templates.

When setting up a search, analysis or data manipulation, Panorama Sheets instantly previews the results as each key is pressed (similar to Spotlight). The live preview updates in real time, so users can immediately see how different options interact with actual data before they actually perform an action.

There are two versions of Panorama Sheets for OS X. The version available from Apple’s Mac App Store requires an Intel Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later. The version available directly from the ProVue web site (http://www.provue.com/panoramasheets) will run either Intel or PowerPC machines with OS X 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 or later. Also, a demo is available for download.
