Study: iPhone 3GS 20% more reliable than 3G

SquareTrade, an independent warranty provider, has completed their second annual study on failure rates for Apple iPhones. Based on data compiled from over 25,000 3G and 3GS iPhones covered by SquareTrade since 2008, the study found that 25.6% of the devices experienced a failure in the first two years, compared to 33% in 2009.

LittleFin Software has released Chronicle 3.3 (http://www.littlefin.com/chronicle.html), an update to their home finance and bill paying application for Mac OS X. You can now generate reports for the current or past year for any bill — or you can generate a report of all payments, including totals.

In version 3.3, reports can be easily printed or saved to PDF. Loading bills is now a bit faster, and loading the Overview should be significantly faster. iCal operations continue in the background, so saving bills and logging payments is now faster as well.
