Aluratek (http://www.aluratek.com) has announced the Bump wireless/MP3 speaker line. The collection introduces four new products — the AMS01F portable boombox, the AUWS01F USB transmitter with remote wireless speaker (pictured), the AWS01F boombox kit with separate remote wireless speaker, and the APS01F 3.5mm lithium ion portable speaker.

The Bump AMS01F portable boombox — which has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$49.99 — has a plug-n-play design that plays music by inserting an SD/SDHC card. The wireless speaker also features a built-in FM tuner and alarm clock function.

For playing tunes from a computer anywhere in the house, the Bump AUWS01F ($79.99) provides a 2.4GHz wireless transmitter that ensures a high-quality connection up to 60 feet, according to John Wolikow, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Aluratek. Simply insert the USB dongle to get started; no configuring or software is needed.

The Bump AWS01F ($99.99) provides both a stand-alone boombox and remote wireless speaker as a kit. You can plug and play from an SD/SDHC card, listen to the FM tuner or connect to an MP3 player and use the wireless speaker to listen anywhere.

Finally, the Bump APS01F ($19.99) is an external portable speaker that will plug into the 3.5mm headset/ear bud port of all smart phones/cell phones or any other device with a 3.5mm connection.

Each portable system is powered by a Lithium-Ion Polymer battery for a truly wireless experience that lasts up to six hours on a single charge. Each Bump is Mac and PC compatible and can connect with MP3 players and other audio devices using a 3.5mm auxiliary audio output.
