Bome Software has announced Christmas Greeting — After the Beep! which applies Bome’s audio processing techniques to a holiday-themed consumer mobile application. Christmas Greeting allows users to record a voice message, mix and remix their message with combinations of 15 background holiday tunes, 11 locations (like Santa’s Slay, Christmas Party and Heaven) and 17 greeting wrappers (like the printed text on a greeting card. Users can then share their message directly to voicemail through a process called VoiceText, or through Facebook, Twitter or email. Christmas Greeting is a free promotional version of After the Beep!

Mother and daughter team, Lynn and Molly Rasmussen, have released Men Are Easy — New Year Resolutions, a lifestyle app for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Adapted from the “Men Are Easy,” the $1.99 app is billed as “a modern girl’s DYI guide to love and life.” Whether single, married, looking for love, or over it, women are entertained by tips and resolutions under categories like “You Can Change Him,” “Communication Is Not the Key,” and “Don’t Work At It.”

Bear Grylls: The Bear Essentials’ has launched for iOS devices for $6.99. It’s a hands-on survival tool from the “ultimate survivor,” Bear Grylls.

Halcyon Touch Software has introduced Halcyon Calc Lite for iOS devices. It’s a $4.99 RPN calculator with complex number and symbolic expression support. With over 190 built-in operations, these functions can be combined into expressions and plotted in an X/Y coordinate space. The app is designed for students, engineers and scientists. Cut, copy and paste is supported. X/Y plots are directly manipulated through pinch to zoom and panning gestures.

Soteria Systems has unveiled Forsse Assist for iPhone, a personal safety service that purportedly protects you nationwide. It provides access to a professional and certified personal alarm monitoring team by pushing a button on the Forsse Assist app. Phone users can download the Forsse app from the iTunes App Store and subscribe to the service through the Forsse web site. Forsse is offering the first 30 days free on a monthly subscription (it’s normally $14.95 per month) by entering the promo code: FORSSE30. The Forsse service is also available with a $150 annual subscription.

Drahtwerk has debuted Tumbles Christmas Edition, a seasonally themed version of their brainchild app, Tumbles, with refined gameplay and new features. Tumbles Christmas Edition is a $0.99, physics-based match-three game with four distinct game modes: Classic, Challenge, Blitz and Online Multiplayer.

SuperMedia has announced EveryCarListed.com, a free, online automotive buying tool for iOS devices. It allows consumers to access information about new, used and certified vehicles, compare prices and mileage, locate dealers and map directions, access CarFax vehicle history Reports and call or email dealerships directly. Users will also be able to search cars directly from the dealer’s lot by entering a vehicle’s VIN (vehicle identification number) or stock number.

ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy, an educational web site for children preschool through kindergarten has published a collection of three interactive apps for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. They’re $0.99 each.

Nigel Green Software Development has cooked up CookCalc 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. The $0.99 app is designed for converting different weight and volume measurements.

Command Guru has produced Arloy 1.0 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users. It’s a $0.99 instrument that shows you the weather information, the time and the weather forecast for the following five days in an automatic fashion, with three different skins to choose from.

Ludia, and Classic Media have served up Where’s Waldo? in Hollywood for the iPhone/iPod touch ($2.99) and iPad ($4.99). The game brings the search for the world traveler to the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown, set against a backdrop of red carpet events and epic Hollywood film sets, such as “Robin Hood,” “The Wild West” and “The Three Musketeers.”

Vitaliy Pronkin has rolled out What’s There? 1.0, a panoramio photo viewer for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The $0.99 app provides a way to browse photos of places around the world. Instead of the customary standard interface, What’s There? employs built-in compass to provide fun way to browse and view photos from Panoramio.

Quantum Sheep has announced Gravitrixx and Gravitrixmas, two gravity puzzle action games this holiday season for all iPhone and iPod touch models. Gravitrixx ($1.99) is a Tron inspired game of collecting blips while avoiding the evil Red hazards; it has over 100 levels. Gravitrixmas ($0.99) is a seasonal variation on Gravitrixx in which you help Santa collect the candy within the time limit while angry presents and snowmen’s heads try and stop him.

Radiant Canopy has released Guerrilla Cardio 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $2.99 app implements the best known HIIT training program developed by Ph.D. Izumi Tabata and his colleagues from National Institute of Health & Nutrition in Tokyo, Japan, and provides an aerobics training protocol.

SKH Apps has introduced Words With Fries 1.0, a new word finder app for iOS devices. The $0.99 app is word research tool for word games like Scrabble and Words. Users enter random letters into its word building engine, then after a few shakes of a pack of French fries it spits out words on the screen, along with a phrase. Afterwards, tapping on any word brings up its online definition.

PhatWare Corp. has unveiled PhatPad for iPad, a note-taking and collaboration app featuring PhatWare’s proven handwriting recognition technology. More than just a note-taking app, PhatPad turns an iPad into an advanced brainstorming tool by enabling users to draw, write, and type on the iPad, then instantly share ideas via email, WiFi sync, Dropbox, or with PhatPad’s built-in presentation mode. It’s available for a limited time for $4.99; the regular price is $9.99.

Kryptos Communications has launched a new iPhone application named Kryptos for $4.99. It utilizes 256-bit, AES military grade encryption to encrypt voice communications between users while using 1024 bit RSA encryption during the symmetric key exchange.

The first episode of Tales of Monkey Island “Launch of the Screaming Narwhal” is now available for the iPad for US$6.99. The first episode in a five-part series, it’s based on the Monkey Island adventure series starring Mighty Pirate Guybrush Threepwood.

Callaway Digital Arts and HIT Entertainment that have teamed up to bring Thomas the Tank Engine to the iPad. Misty Island Rescue, the first and only Thomas & Friends application designed specifically for the Apple tablet, is available for a limited time for $4.99. It’s the first in a series of applications the two companies will be creating together for the Thomas & Friends brand.

XMG Studio have unleashed Inspector Gadget’s MAD Dash 1.0, a $1.99 game for iOS devices based on the iconic 1980s character and TV series. Everyone’s favorite bumbling detective, Inspector Gadget, finds his way onto a new game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Throughout the game, the player will collect G’s — special coins that allow you to unlock bonus content at the end of the game.

DigDev says its latest interactive eBook, The Nativity Interactive Storybook, is now available for download for $0.99. It’s an animated, interactive depiction of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Craft mobile has updated Gentle Alarm, its sleep cycle alarm clock for the iPhone and iPod touch, to version 2.1.0. Instead of shocked by a sudden and loud alarm clock sound, this $3.99 app purportedly adjusts in a few days to your needs and lets you wake up in a quiet and peaceful way. It monitors your natural sleep patterns and produces a personalized waking program. Version 2.1.0 adds an alarm switch to warning dialog, added blinking to alarm stop button, shortcut alarm setting and more.

Yap.TV has announced version 2.0 of its social TV application by the same name for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free app delivers a full picture-based TV show guide, streaming tweets for every show, Twitter client features, interactive polls, show favorites with show times, and more.

RecoSystems has updated Daring Raccoon for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to version 1.5. The $0.99 arcade game blends action and user agility with puzzle solving elements. There are over 60 vertically integrated levels where players must run, jump, and climb their way to victory in order to progress from one stage to the next.

Dot Next has released ABC — Magnetic Alphabet 1.3 for the iPad. It’s an update of the $1.99 magnetic board for kids. Mathemagics 3.0 contains nearly 60 different math tricks for multiplying, dividing and squaring numbers faster than many people can use a calculator.

Apalon has introduced Dream Home HD 2.0 for the iPad, an update to their $4.99. It’s an image gallery designed for everyone who wants to keep up with the latest interior design trends. Version 2.0 features the brand new Trends section, a blog on the latest interior design trends, tips and suggestions on how to renovate a house or an apartment. The app also features new galleries and a completely rebuilt navigation experience and more.

Focused Apps has updated Santa’s Lil’ Zombies 1.1, an update of their free game that runs on the iPhone and iPod touch. Built with the Unity 3D engine, in Santa’s Lil’ Zombies players shoot zombie elves with a snowball cannon to save Christmas.
