Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find ’em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

KijomagiDay has announced Miro: Color the World! 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. In the US$0.99 game, players select one of the little funny monsters, the Miros, and color a beautiful land by rolling on it. The faster they do it, better will be their world ranking. Miro: Color The World! features five characters, 25 levels, Facebook and Twitter integration and more.

Evetone Labs has released Current 1.0, a realtime Twitter search app for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The $1.99 app allows its users to search Twitter in real time and supports queries, filtering tweets by language and autorefresh intervals for searches.

Gamez 4 Touch has introduced the physics puzzle game, Play With Your Peas for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It’s a $0.99, strategic physics puzzle game allowing users to create an ever changing playground for Ninja Peas to enjoy. The user progresses through the difficulty levels accumulating Happy Points for the peas by building towers from which they can jump. The challenge is to score the points in the fastest time.

Developer Alexandru Brie has published “Business Inspiration Classics,” a $2.99 iPhone and iPad ebook app collecting 27 masterpieces on marketing, business, motivation and inspiration. A follow-up to the “Self Help Classics” iPhone and iPad app, Business Inspiration Classics re-edits the best works from its predecessor and 10 new unique masterpieces, in a novel presentation.

NiftyGifts Christmas Present Tracker by Philweb is a new tool that helps you keep track of the Christmas presents you’ve bought or wish to buy for your friends and family. With the $0.99 app you can manage budgets and see presents still to buy at-a-glance within the neat Shopping List feature. You can create multiple recipients, set them budgets and assign them gifts. Each gift has a name, price, status and if you’re an iPhone user it also lets you use the camera to take a quick snap.

Jonathan Conway has unveiled Coin-Spin for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The $0.99 app features an arcade style simulation where player’s choose a coin, a playing surface, and then challenge themselves, friends and family to see who has the best skills to spin a coin the longest for the highest score. Choose a coin from one of 25 countries and then place it on a variety of 20 different surface environments.

Purple Button Media has debuted The Story Home 1.0 for iOS devices. Endorsed by the American Library Association, the $1.99 app features 72 stories, which are organized into 14 categories, search-able by author or title. Each week, the top 10 most popular stories are recommended as a guide to the listener. Users can also share information about the app with a friend via e-mail, Twitter and Facebook.

Merry Puzzles — Countdown to Christmas 1.0 is a new, $0.99 interactive puzzle application for iPhone and iPod touch devices. With Merry Puzzles — Countdown to Christmas you stroll through Santa’s Village to open picture puzzles. When complete, the puzzles become interactive scenes with animations and sounds that bring them to life. The app includes custom recordings of 12 classic holiday melodies.

Instant Anatomy is offering Instant Anatomy Flash Cards 1.0 for iOS devices. This $7.99 contains 600 diagrams or flash cards covering most aspects of human anatomy. The diagrams can all be zoomed in using the pinch gesture and are presented in landscape or portrait. The diagrams are aimed at anyone who is studying human anatomy.

Tiny Mobile has cooked up Santa’s Eatin’ Cookies 1.0, their new Christmas themed puzzle game for iOS devices. In the $0.99 app, you take the role of a newly recruited elf, hired to keep Santa happy by feeding him cookies on all those days between Christmases. Santa’s Eatin’ Cookies offers 16 super fun levels, with an alternating game mode play style, Game Center integration, leaderboards and more.

Comboapp has served up 3D Coloring Book for Kids: Christmas 1.0 for the iPad. The $2.99 app offers users the ability to color in three dimensional outlines of classic and well known Christmas characters, allowing them to rotate and move original content that they fill in with the colors of their choice. As users color in various portions of 3D Coloring Book’s canvas, changing hues and shading effects are automatically added to create a 3D appearance.

iZooLu has announced Fast Photo 1.0 for iOS devices. The $0.99 app lets you show off your favorite photos with only one tap, and even allows for custom descriptions for each photo. You can add as many photos to each album as you like and add a custom description to each photo.

Mindwarm has released AddTo Seattle 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The $0.99 app lets you create your own travel guide from your photos and notes. You can create your own map with the highlights you want, photo album and travel diary. At any time you can add a note or photo to your album. If you have allowed location, then your current location will be added to that note and photo.

Quu Entertainment has introduced Where is Fun 1.0 for the iPad. The $0.99 app consists of five mini-games that are intended to develop coordination, attention, logic, memory, and imagination. It was specifically designed to help develop kids’ sense of direction, spatial relationship, and brain skills.

The inaugural iPad issue of “Ultimate MotorCycling” is now available. After downloading the free app from the Apple App Store, the latest issue can be purchased for $2.97 — half the price of the print edition — or for a yearly subscription of $9.97.

Polaroid has launched a new Polaroid branded app for the iPhone iPhone. The $1.99 Polaroid Instant Camera App for iPhone simulates the Polaroid instant photo experience, enhancing ordinary iPhone photos by adding the Polaroid Classic Border.

Optimum Resource has unveiled three new iPhone apps. Stickybear Numbers teachers early learners numbers, counting, adding and taking away in both English and Spanish. Stickybear ABC is designed to provide children with basic alphabet skills. Stickybear’s Matching Mansion is a memory game designed to help children learn to read. All three programs, designed for children, ages three and up, are available on the iPhone and iPod touch at $0.99 each.

Campus Apartments, one of the nation’s largest privately held student housing, is offering SmartClick Mobile (http://smartclick.campusapts.com), a iOS app that’s an extension to Campus Apartments’ SmartClick web portal, allowing residents to pay rent and submit service requests from the convenience of an iPhone or Android mobile phone, in addition to being accessible from any web browser.

Software Ops has rolled out My Eyes Only Photo Pro 1.0, a photo encryption application for iOS devices. The $5.99 app is designed to secure photos on your iPhone or iPod touch by password protecting and encrypting them. It uses 256-bit RSA encryption.

PBS KIDS and The Jim Henson Company has unleashed Dinosaur Train Eggspress for the iPhone and iPod touch. Based on the TV series “Dinosaur Train,” one of the top ten shows for kids ages 2-5, the $2.99 app guides preschool-age children through three prehistoric eras while promoting science and math skills.

D-Studio has pieced together Join It — Jigsaw Puzzle 1.0 for the iPad. The $3.99 app uses gesture abilities for controlling the puzzle pieces.

Virginia.gov has served up its first mobile application with the release of “Pass the Past,” an educational game preparing Virginia students for the Standards of Learning standardized tests. The mobile application can be downloaded for free for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Dante Varnado Moore has updated Songwriter’s Pad, his $9.99 pro lyric writing app for the Apple tablet, to version 1.2. Songwriter’s Pad allows songwriters to write, arrange and store all of their lyrics in one place and includes a digital recorder for capturing vocals. New in version 1.2 is iOS 4.2 compatibility, and the ability for Songwriter’s to personalize the app with their own lingo by adding words and phrases to the idea generator for inspiration and for averting writers block.

AppThem has announced Appy Holiday 1.5, a Christmas greeting app for iOS devices. The app — which is free until after the first week of December, when it will cost $0.99 — allows user to create a custom app with his or her picture and turn the picture into an interactive Santa Clause that can be touched, dragged, and flicked on an iPhone. The app can be installed on the user device’s home screen as any native app and can be sent as a holiday greeting.

ArtRage for iPad 1.0.4 is now available. The $6.99 app lets you become a mobile digital artist on the Apple tablet, providing the experience of actually “painting” digitally on an iPad canvas with oil paints that smear and blend, and watercolors that flow together to create soft, wet gradations, just as they would in a traditional art studio.  

ONYX Apps has announced an update to Oscilloscope for iOS devices. It’s a $14.99, portable Oscilloscope & Signal Generator app. Designed to plot audio signals, monitor equipment, analyze events, and test circuits, it also serves as a learning tool. Its graphical user interface includes many standard oscilloscope controls, such as: triggering, time and voltage per division, signal measurement cursors, and more. Version 1.5 brings dual trace support, zoom and scroll functionality, auto set and iOS 4.2 support.

Paul Gee has updated HotUKDealer — a $1.99 app that provides a simple user interface to the HotUKDealer site for tracking down good deals — to version 2.0.3. The new version sports complete re-write of the original application and a revamped interface.

14-year-old iPhone app developer Canzhi Ye has announced Easy Typing 2.0, an update to his $0.99 productivity app for iOS devices. Easy Typing is designed to allow users to be more efficient when typing on the iPhone or iPod touch. The app features a large, full QWERTY keyboard with key sizes that are twice the size of the ones on the iPhone’s default keyboard. Users can export to email and SMS with the touch of a button. There is also a secondary keyboard includes numbers and math symbols and more.

The app features many more animations involving different gestures and image sharing on Facebook and email.

Rick Duffy has released Webcorder 1.3 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The $0.99 creates a QuickTime movie of what a user actually sees as they browse the web. These movies can then be saved, sent to friends, students, tech support, or used for marketing or advertising your own web site.

Sports Data Systems has updated my Golf Stats, their golf statistics manager for iOS devices, to version 2.0. Created to allow avid golfers to keep a log of their game statistics when playing, the $2.99 app helps players keep track of how well they drive, putt, execute sand saves, as well as many other aspects of their play. Statistics can be easily viewed via in-app graphs, and the app allows players to set goals for themselves based on their collected data.

Codewave Software has introduced MyTunesRSS 4.0.0. On sale for approximately 48 for a limited time, the app is designed to be “your personal music and video server. With it, you can browse and listen to your music in any web browser from all over the world. You can also use other devices like Nintendo’s Wii or Apple’s iPhone to listen to your music. MyTunesRSS offers lots of features like smart playlists, user management, configurable and skinnable web interface, LastFM music community integration and on-the-fly audio and video transcoding.

Dexetra Software has updated SecureKeys for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android and BlackBerry to version 1.01. Created to provide users with a practical password storage and retrieval solution, the $1.99 app creates a single secure system that can generate passwords for any use and safely hold them in a secure centralized location.

ITL Games has launched Alone 1.6 for iOS, an update to their retro, isometric platformer game. Here’s the $0.99 app is described: “Following a deadly chemical-warfare attack, the city is in ruins. The player must find a vaccine for himself and his girlfriend, while gathering survival gear and fighting off enemies. The update features improved performance, new controls, accelerometer and shake actions, and more fluid movement. The two-thumb GUI features touchscreen weapons, unlimited levels, and restart at the last level.”

EmirBytes has updated iTronixPal — Electronics Box for iOS devices to version 2.3. The $2.99 app was created for electronics enthusiasts, students, engineers, designers, and hobbyists. It features five special tools and 15 circuit calculators. Version 2.3 includes support for iOS4 multitasking and user customization. A custom keypad has been added in version 2.3 to make it for users to key in numbers. Users can also now customize the active fonts colors to their preference.

Idea Factory has introduced eAnniversary 1.2 for iOS, an update of the $1.99 app that provides full tracking and notification services for birthdays and anniversaries. Features include: iPhone Address Book sync, import/export data, email alerts, send congratulations by phone or e-Mail from within the app, Twitter and Facebook connectivity, and an editable event browser. Optional features require an in-app purchase, and include: SMS Alerts, automatic e-Cards, automatic e-Mails, and web server backup.

Phoenxsoftware has updated MonoPhix, an iPhone black & white photography app, to version 3.0. The $0.99 allows users to transform their pictures into black & white and vintage pieces of art in a few adjustable steps. The 3.9 update adds a complete overhaul of everything, including a new dark wood interface and more than 30 new features and improvements.

Fortuna Mobile has unveiled SharkWatch! 2.0 for iOS devices. It’s a $0.99 social networking app, dedicated to shark sightings and education, or anyone curious about our ocean’s apex predator. SharkWatch! users can share their shark encounters with other users of the app, as well as with other social networking groups. They can also: browse through sightings posted by the SharkWatch! community; find out which sharks may get up close and personal at the local beach; and more.

Papa’s Frog has unleashed Helping Toto the Puppy 1.4.1 for the iPad. Created specifically for the Apple tablet, this $3.99 app is an interactive children’s storybook where young users actively participate throughout the story by drawing and completing various tasks to nurture Toto the Puppy back to health.
