Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find ’em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

Deep Prose Software has announced FastTalker 1.0 for the iPhone and iPad. The US$1.99 app is for making quick audio notes on-the-go without having to look at the screen or tap a lot of buttons. It is designed to capture quick audio recordings of 5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds at a time. FastTalker starts and ends recording automatically; just start the app and record your thoughts.

Hot Chili Apps is expanding their Christmas Card Edition. Christmas C@rds HD 1.0 are e-cards. The $3.99 app allows anyone to design on the iPad in HD quality and in a complete new look, with a choice of various graphic elements for designing his/her own Christmas card to his individual taste. It has 36 C@rd templates that can be decorated on the iPad with personal photos or texts as well as one from 18 stickers.

iGameGuides has released an unofficial Guide for Black Ops for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The $2.99 guide includes real damage graphs for all weapons, “create a class” for building classes, “tactical uses” for all weapons and equipment, perks, killstreaks, attachments all with detailed strategy.

Apps Capital has debuted Diet Defense 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a $0.99 game that incorporates tower defense strategy with a war against junk food. Players use healthy fruits and vegetables as their weapons to keep marauding food enemies at bay.

Corrigo, a provider of mobile SaaS field service applications, is offering a free WorkTrack Service Management app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This release extends WorkTrack’s QuickBooks integration to include native support for Advanced Inventory in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. This additional inventory support is included as part of the core invoicing module at no additional fee.

Buck Consultants is offering two iPhone applications that let users keep track of health insurance benefits and store key health information that can be accessed on-the-go from their Apple smartphone. Benefits Genie Lite may be purchased for $0.99, and Benefits Genie may be purchased for $4.99.

Koren Projects has announced TrueKeyboard 1.1 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. An enhanced notes program, the $1.99 app offers users a full ergonomic keyboard complete with all four arrows and number pad, in 3D, complete with auto-correction and a speller. Messages can be sent to others via email or SMS from within the app. Users are able to adjust the color of the keyboard. TrueKeyboard takes advantage of iOS 4.2 and the iPhone 4 Retina Display.

MacPhun has released Perfect Photo 2.0, an update to their $0.99 iOS app. Version 2.0 introduces editing and sharing features, as well as a re-designed interface. Perfect Photo is enriched with a number of new editing tools, including red eye removal and spot healing, which are hard to find in similar apps for iPhone and iPod touch.

Appdicted has introduced Monster Studio 1.2 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The $0.99 app offers a way to create their own custom monsters. Monster Studio offers many body types, eyes, mouths and accessories, over 100 parts available to create endless custom monsters. You can create your monster in one of the 21 backgrounds included in this app or use your own photo as the background.

Appdicted has also launched Cartoon Hairstyles 1.2 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The $0.99 app gives you a way to try on cartoon hairstyles using any photo. You can try a style on yourself, your friends and even your pets. The app offers over 50 male and female styles to choose from.

Riptide Games has rolled out iLookChristmas 1.4.1 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It’s a free app that lets users add a holiday theme to any of their photos. Users can turn anyone in their pictures into Santa, elves, reindeer or snowman in addition to many other items available to make their photos more festive. Completed pictures can then be shared with family via Facebook, Twitter, email or saved to the device photo album for later.

The Pixel Farm has produced Airgrade, a free color grading engine that’s remote controlled from an iPhone. Airgrade makes creative color grading available to everyone on a Mac, from the home enthusiast to professional colorists, DPs and VFX artists.

Uncommon Projects has updates Marco Friend Locator with numerous user-requested features. Marco is the free SMS powered app that allows friends to use their smartphones to find each other fast and privately. Marco Friend Locator 1.1.1 has added a recent contacts list, backwards compatibility with iOS 4.0, “zoom-to-here” and a “ping” feature. Marco now automatically includes the neighborhood directly in the body of the SMS a user sends.

Ziv Aviv has published Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz 1.1 for iPad, an update to his eBook that contains the complete text of the English book translated into Hebrew. The original children’s book, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” was written by L. Frank Baum and published in 1900.

Autodesk has announced updates to AutoCAD WS, a free iOS application that uses cloud computing to enable AutoCAD software users to view, edit and share their AutoCAD designs and DWG files through web browsers and mobile devices.
