Enterprise Desktop Alliance conducts survey on Xserve demise

On Nov. 5, Apple announced that it was no longer going to ship the Xserve effective Jan. 31, 2011. The Enterprise Desktop Alliance — an organization to help IT departments integrate Macs into the corporate environment — has opened a new survey to see what you think about this move.

“If you have Xserves, we want to hear your opinion on this transition,” says the EDA. ” What will you do for those Xserve based services and applications, when will you do it, and what do you think it will cost? Please go to the Xserve transition survey (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/V8P68F8?c=email) and let us know what this change means to you. We are also offering a $50 Amazon gift certificate to one of every 100 respondents. We will be publishing the results of the survey and hope to do so as soon as next week.”
