Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find ’em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

XCool Apps has introduced AppSwitch 1.0, an US$0.99 iPhone and iPod touch app that detects and displays all background and running processes, complete with actual names and icons. Its Switch to App technology harnesses one of iOS’s features to let you quickly switch to another app, while Shortcuts lets you quickly switch to a feature within another app.

RouteOne has announced a free iPhone, iPad, and iPod app that provides RouteOne users the ability to view and manage all deals and leads, whether in the F&I office, on the showroom floor, or outside the dealership. The app allows dealers to view a condensed version of the Deal Manager, Deal Summary, and the Lead Manager (all critical features of the RouteOne system) as well as request and review credit reports and credit scores in real time.

Very Alien Productions has released Base Station 1.0, an US$1.99 base conversion education and productivity app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Designed to leverage the iPhone interface, it’s a tool for the professional or student. In addition to its ability to convert both positive and negative integers and real numbers between the most common bases, the app is a learning tool.

Outfit7 has debuted Talking Roby the Robot 1.0, their second “talking” app for iOS devices. Roby is a “talking, hip-hop dancing robot,” who is able to speak words and sentences that the user types on his/her keyboard. He can also repeat anything the user says into the device with a robo voice. Talking Roby the Robot 1.0 is a free app both on the iPhone and iPad with an optional in-app purchase of three additional animations plus no ads for $0.99 (iPhone) and $2.99 (iPad).

CDE Humble Gaming Limited has launched iAsteroids 1.0, a $1.99 game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The user plays the role of a space cadet who forms part of a response team that has been selected to save Earth from an unending barrage of asteroids, comets and meteors. Players have a variety of weapons at their disposal.

Hidden World Hut has produced TwitterBook 1.0 for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices. The free allows users to post updates to Facebook and Twitter simultaneously.

GlimmerWave Software has created Beam Wars 1.0, a free game for the Phone and iPod touch. Red and blue beams sizzle across the board, bouncing from mirrors and exploding from star prisms. Control the Beams, both your beam and that of your opponent, to strengthen your army and weaken your foe. Beam Wars can be configured for Human vs Human, Human vs Robot and Robot vs Robot game play modes.

Tabi Software is offering a mobile version of its SlipBox app for iOS devices. It’s a note-taking application with associative searches. It’s designed for maintaining large collections of notes over an extended period. SlipBox 1.0 will be available at a 50% discount for one week, until Nov. 7, at $4.99; after this, it will be $9.99.

Just-Eat has served up Belly & Brain 1.0 for iOS devices. The free app features the characters Belly and Brain from Just-Eat’s TV campaign and requires the player to control Brain’s food cannon whilst aiming and firing different snacks into Belly’s mouth to stop his stomach rumbling. Belly & Brain is a sideways scrolling game of skill and accuracy set across 126 levels and is based upon three cuisine themes; Chinese, Indian and Italian.

Ian Miller has announced Salesdiver 1.5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The $1.99 app is designed to help sales people manage their sales pipeline and qualify their opportunities better. Salesdiver supports all the world’s currencies, and comes at a new base price. Some optional features are now offered as in app purchases, such as being able to email opportunity status information.

NextGamez has released Mr Pig Muddy 1.0, a $0.99, physics-based game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Here’s how the game is described: “While pigs are very intelligent and can be trained to do tricks and such, Mr pig muddy is not fond of bathing. Your goal is to get him bathing. Each of the 30 levels requires logic, skills. Mr Pig Muddy features hours of gameplay, challenging physics-based farm settings, demolition of hay bales, construction and many special features and objects.”

Home Revivals has debuted iScape, a $3.99 app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Developed to assist both novice and professional landscape designers alike, it allows you to see your landscape options before any work starts, before you spend any money or doing any digging. You can access an image database that offers a variety of shrubs, flowers, and trees.

Mobilaga has released Dude, Your Car! 1.3, an update to their $0.99 prankster app for iOS devices. With over 90 damages, iPhone users can take photos of cars and enhance them by adding dents, scratches and broken windows. The enhancements can be resized and touched up to match the car and then the photos can be shared with friends via email, social networks or other photo sharing sources. Version 1.3 includes a custom damage capability.

Riptide Games has introduced iPrincess 1.4 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It lets users fill their photos with princesses by selecting from the myriad princess themed items available. Users can mix and match 30 different princess items to add to their photos, including dresses, hair, wands, jewelry and more. Users can purchase image packs from the rest of the iLook App series. Additional packs are added on a regular basis. iPrincess 1.4 is an ad supported free app. iPrincess: Ad Free is also available for $0.99. Items packs in the upgrade store are $0.99 each.

Hubapps has launched Note Hub Professional 2.0, an update to its $2.99 productivity suite for the iPad. It offers integration between documents, including text notes, maps, journals, sketches, task lists, calculators, and a complete web browser. The suite sports a full range of export options from email to Dropbox integration.

Sunmedia Games has grown Flower Garden Logical Game 1.2, an update of its $1.99 puzzle game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The new version 1.2 adds new flowers and new levels.
