Yesterday we noted that “Newsweek” has released its list (http://www.newsweek.com/2010/10/18/green-rankings-us-companies.html) of “green” U.S. companies and noted that “strangely” Apple isn’t in the top 20.

However, Fabio M. Zambelli of “setteB.IT” (http://www.setteb.it/?p=9886), an Italian language web site for Mac users, points out that Apple places 65 on the list, making a big jump from 133 in 2009.

The “Newsweek” environmental ranking of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in America is measured by revenue, market capitalization, and number of employees. “NewsWeek” ranked the biggest publicly traded companies in developed and emerging world markets.
