IntelliScanner Corp. has launched the US$299 IntelliScanner SOHO 150 ( http://www.intelliscanner.com/products/soho/), which is designed to make it easy for small businesses to keep track of business inventory and assets with barcode technology.

By scanning the barcode, users can automatically create an inventory of what’s in stock, where it is, and what they have invested. IntelliScanner’s included software package provides reports, notifies when stock is running low, and totals the value of current inventory.

Built for Mac and PC users, IntelliScanner SOHO 150 also integrates with third-party applications like FileMaker Pro, Xsilva LightSpeed, and Microsoft Office with dual USB interface options and a 4000 barcode memory chip. It works tethered to any Mac or PC, or on-the-go with standard AAA batteries. When reconnected via USB, IntelliScanner automatically downloads scans captured while roaming, just like a digital camera.
