Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find ’em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

Punflay has announced Bounce It 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The US$0.99 app derives its idea from a children’s tale with Bouncer being the central character. Bouncer slips off and falls to earth from moon. The game involves helping him scale his way back to the confines of Moon. Bouncer will face obstacles trying to block its way, and also power ups which shall aid his ascent. The background in the device changes as Bouncer moves up in different layers of atmosphere.

Ragnar has announced Tumblie 1.23 for the iPhone, iPod, and iPad. The $0.99 was created as a puzzle game that mixes elements of problem solving with skill-based game play. It’s based on the concept of guiding a character’s fall by strategically dismantling the tower they are situated atop.

Evan Beland has introduced Match a Dog 1.0 for iOS devices. The $1.99 game lets you play with photos of the dogs from the ASPCA and help them at the same time. It’s a customizable adaptation of the matching game known traditionally known as Concentration, Memory or Pairs. Match a Dog lets users add pictures of their dog to the game on-the-fly from their device or search select dog related groups on Flickr.

AppBC has launched touchAble 1.0 for iPad, a $16.99 controller solution for Ableton Live. It allows musicians, DJs, producers and performers to fully control and perform Ableton Live from their Apple tablets. It lets them perform live from anywhere within Wi-Fi range while keeping latency at a minimum. TouchAble includes templates for Lives plug-ins and is fully compatible with VSTs, Audiounits and Instruments.

Toughturtle has produced Mobile Bingo 1.0, a new iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch app. The free game comes with two premium game boards and the ability to purchase seven more game boards.

Humble Gaming has produced Aliens Need Brains 1.0. Designed specifically for iPhone 4, the $1.99 game features three difficulty levels. The world is being attacked by different kinds of aliens, and the user operates as the last line of defense. OpenFeint leaderboards maintain high scores and unlock achievements as the game progresses.

ALK Technologies is offering ActiveTraffic, a real-time traffic service that integrates dynamic traffic flow information with advanced routing technology to more efficiently guide drivers to their destination. New and existing CoPilot Live iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Mobile customers in the U.S. will have the opportunity to try ActiveTraffic with a 14-day free trial and then buy a subscription for 12 months use at the special price of $9.99.

Aleryon has debuted a new Facebook client for iOS devices, Qubical, that utilizes the iPhone SDK Core Animation framework to present Facebook friend and photo album pictures in a new user interface. Qubical ($1.99) uses Core Animation to present the profile pictures of the user’s friends as tiles on an interactive 3D cube. A user double-taps a picture on the cube to see a friend’s Wall, mutual friends, and photo albums. Photos from the user’s photo albums and those of their friends are placed on similar interactive 3D photo cubes.

Epic Games has announced its Epic Citadel app is now available for free. The app showcases the technical capabilities of Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In Epic Citadel, players navigate a fictional castle realm using simple controls and the innovative Multi-Touch user interface.

Crash Bang Studios has released Fail Driver version 1.1 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free app allows frustrated drivers to be able to report and tag other cars by capturing their license plate information, and optionally capturing a picture of the offending vehicle. Users can choose the event that best suits the action of the offending driver. Fail Driver dutifully records the GPS coordinates of the event, allowing others to see the location.

NeuralMuse has introduced The Downlow 1.2, an update to their $2.99 text and image encryption app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Using a proprietary algorithm, the app empowers users to conduct discreet and private text and image based communications. Encryption keys are user created, and may be shared with other users of the app for secure, private information exchange. The Downlow Vault is designed to ensure safe storage of images and text.

Vito Technology has launched Star Walk 4.5, an update to their $2.99 stargazing guide for iOS devices. The main new feature of this update is Help Arrows that show you where to look to see the Big Dipper, Mars, or any star you choose. Point your iPad or iPhone at the sky and the green arrows will guide you to the desired goal. Version 4.5 features gyroscope support on iPhone 4, Moon rise and Moon set info on SkyLive screen, full multitasking support and minor bug fixes.

Dear Panda is offering CourseNotes 2.0 for the iPad. The update of the $4.99 app adds new features that allow users to export their notes, sketches and TODO items online. The latest version also gives users the ability to view shared notes of their Facebook friends from within the app, making collaboration easier than ever.
