Bodega for Mac OS X gets The Loop Picks feature

IDFusion Software has announced Bodega 1.2 (http://appbodega.com), an update of its “corner store” for Mac apps. The update brings a new feature to Bodega called The Loop Picks.

In conjunction with the Apple-centric website, The Loop, each week Bodega will showcase five of the hottest Mac applications available through Bodega as selected by The Loop’s editors, along with what makes the applications so hot. From there, the user need only click upon an application icon for more info and to purchase the application through Bodega.

Also new with Bodega 1.2 are performance improvements. There are additional keyboard shortcuts for an improved user navigation experience, a completely redesigned receipts viewer window along with the ability to easily print receipts, and overall application speed enhancements.

Bodega is designed as an one-stop shop for software needs. Users can browse the top- rated and most-downloaded applications. The storefront gives users links to press clippings and blog postings, so they can see what tech writers have to say about an app. Bodega lets customers buy directly from developers.

When Bodega finds outdated apps, downloading an update takes a single click. It requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.
