The Louisiana Office of Tourism has produced a free iPhone app for Louisiana’s African American Heritage Trail at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. This is the first app of its kind for tourism in Louisiana, and visitors attending the festival were the first to experience its features.

iGameGuides has announced Guide for FrontierVille 1.0 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The US$1.99 guide includes a 12,000 word guide written by Chris Jensen, author of over 30 books for Prima, Sybex and Brady. The guide includes such topics as Leveling Tricks & Tips, Mastering the Frontierville Interface, Crop Listing, Reputation Rating Guide, Energy Tips & Tricks, Getting Started in Frontierville and many more.

Mobickus has released Kemba 1.0, a free, personal journal application for the iPhone and iPod touch that helps users record, organize and analyze life moments. Its goal is to provide users a tool to tell whether they are living and spending their time on the life roles they most value.

ConglomerApps has introduced Frog Feast 1.0 for iPad users. In the $0.99 game, Freddy is the frog and the feasting begins when players flick Freddy’s tongue to catch various types of good bugs, while avoiding hazardous insects that rob players of their points. There are multiple levels in Frog Feast but players must pass a challenge before advancing from one level to the next. Users can play alone or select the two player mode to challenge a friend.

Online E-Ventures has debuted Fit Pulse 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The $1.99 app tracks a user’s workout history, nutrition intake, as well as weight loss or gain. There is also a Fit Quiz that users can take to test their fitness and nutrition knowledge. Fit Pulse also allows for socializing with other users for support.

Users can earn game-money from their assignments to purchase more pro-camera equipment within the game’s camera store.

Property web site Zoopla.co.uk has announced a free iPhone app for property consumers. It allows users to view available property listings, as well as sold price data, current value estimates and other local market information.

Users can select from dozens of speaking voices, including British Man, Woman, Valley Girl, Jersey Girl, Old Man, as well as funny voices like Devil, Space Alien, Synthesizer and Whisper.

Cramzy has released Type2Walk 1.1, an update of their $0.99 type and walk app for the iPhone. Holding the iPhone in either portrait or landscape orientation, the app simultaneously activates the device’s video camera view and iOS keyboard below it. Users may text or email, and the typed characters appear superimposed over the camera’s forward view on the display, which shows where they are walking. Owners of the iPhone 4 may also activate the built-in video light to illuminate their path as they walk and type.

SmashWorx has introduced an update to Propaganda Lander, their $4.99 lander-flight game for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It includes Survival Remix, Easy, and Hardcore modes. Players can compete for high scores in three different leaderboards utilizing the AGON Online system. Propaganda Lander now supports iOS 4.0 with fast-app switching.

MediaLAB has launched Walkee iGuide to Disneyland 1.4.1 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The $3.99 app was specifically designed to guide users through the more than 500 acres of Disneyland and southern California. Users can pinpoint attractions, shops and restaurants, map out their route and activities ahead of time, find points of interest in other areas of southern California and check the weather.

Thinking Code Software has rolled out Dejumble 2.0 for the iPhone. It’s a $4.99 task and note management app.

Mayan Software has announced Sudoku! 1.8, an update to their $0.99 puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod touch. With two game modes, you can choose to play against time or choose to just lay back and relax while solving your puzzles.

LogicInMind has released Slideshow Remote 2.0 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a $3.99 wireless remote control for Windows PowerPoint. This app displays slides on the mobile device and gives control of every aspects of the slide show.

DistinctDe has launched Food Fight, the fourth section of their $0.99 brain teasing iPhone game, The Moron Test. The Food Fight section introduces new characters, new question types and new game mechanics. The DistinctDev team has added over 45 free questions with more than 100 steps.

Agile Web Solutions says that with the recent update of 1Password Pro for the iPhone and iPod touch, cloud synchronization of secure information via Dropbox is now available for all 1Password users. 1Password is a database for keeping track of web site log-ins, secure notes, identities, credit cards, bank accounts, and software registration information. In addition to Dropbox sync, version 3.5 of 1Password Pro also includes full support for iOS4 and more. A single user license of 1Password for the Mac is available for US$39.95. The iPhone/iPod touch version is $14.99.

Bacon Bear Productions has unleashed Mr. Moneybags 1.1, an update of the $0.99 iOS app designed to track personal IOU’s. With version 1.1, it supports uneven splits and partial payments.

PhatWare Corporation has unveiled WritePad for iPad 4.1, an update to their $9.99 handwriting recognition software for the iPad. WritePad lets users take notes in their own handwriting with an iPad stylus pen or their finger. Version 4.1includes a Twitter client, which allows users to compose Twitter updates in their own handwriting.
