BQE Software (http://www.bqe.com), a provider of business management software, has released ArchiOffice 2010 for both Macs and PCs. The upgrade sports over 150 new and enhanced features designed to help architects and engineers better manage their businesses.

Among the new features are customizable dashboards, put-it-anywhere document management, intelligent folder synching, and enhanced integration with Microsoft Outlook, Entourage, Apple Mail, Address Book and iCal. ArchiOffice 2010 also added the ability for users to customize reports and invoices and drill-down into projects and costs.

Other enhancements include 128-bit SSL encryption and the option for a business to use its own SSL certificate. ArchiOffice utilizes Java Web Start technology to deliver capabilities with a small memory footprint, according to Steven Burns, FAIA, director of Product Strategy and Innovations at BQE Software.

This new technology in ArchiOffice eliminates manual software installation, replacing this costly job with single-click deployment over any network, he adds. You’ll have to contact BQE for pricing options on ArchiOffice.
