New iPhone 4 orders now pushed back to July 14

Apparently, Apple can’t make those iPhone 4s fast enough. Earlier today it was announced that the next gen phones won’t ship until July 2 for those who didn’t order quickly enough (that would be by yesterday afternoon, apparently). Now those who were “late” ordering will have to wait until July 14.

Orders completed Tuesday — when the iPhone 4 was first available for pre-order — still have a shipping date of June 24. That’s 20 days after the launch. Apple sold 600,000 iPhones yesterday alone.
