Live Interior 3D update adds new attic improvements

BeLight Software (http://www.belightsoft.com) has released Live Interior 3D 2.3, an update to its interior design software for Mac OS X that lets users create house, office and apartment interiors with 3D walk-throughs.

The new version lets you turn attic space into more than just storage space for dusty boxes of forgotten belongings. Now any attic can be transformed into a full-fledged, habitable loft thanks to the addition of loft walls.

Navigating around multi-level projects has become more realistic in the Consider Collisions mode. When turned on, you can climb staircases and cannot walk through objects or walls. Also, the import of Google SketchUp files has been improved.

Live Interior 3D is normally available in Standard (US$49.95) and Pro ($129.95) editions. Version 2.4 is a free update for registered users of version 2.x.

Live Interior 3D is Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It works with Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.
