‘MacNotables’ looks at WWDC keynote, the post-PC era and more

The latest edition of “MacNotables” (http://www.macnotables.com/wordpress/) a podcast that serves as home to Mac personalities who will comment on the latest news and opinions in the Mac community, is available.

Yours Truly joins host Chuck Joiner to discuss the announcements at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), with an eye toward what a post-PC world might look like. We hit the high points of Steve Jobs’ keynote, including the new iPhone design, the clear shots at Google, and how the biggest surprise announcement was software-based. The iPhone 4 and the newly renamed iOS 4.0 addressed many of the criticisms that have been leveled at the iPhone in recent months; Chuck and I look at those and more.

“MacNotables” panelists include Christopher Breen, Bryan Chaffin, Jim Dalrymple, Adam Engst, Tonya Engst, Andy Ihnatko, Joiner, Ted Landau, Jason Snell, Bob LeVitus, Dan Frakes and Yours Truly. Not all panelists can make all shows due to scheduling conflicts.
