Zacware has announced Soundtastic 1.0, an US$0.99 app available exclusively for the iPad. Soundtastic provides an interface for changing the pitch of a wide variety of built in sounds, as well as allowing the user to record as many of their own custom sounds as they want. Using the iPad’s touch screen, users can then play these sounds in any combination, and can vary the pitch of each sound from the lowly bellow of a monster to the high pitched screech of a chipmunk.

xhumans has released Cinema for iPad 1.0, a $2.99 motion picture app exclusively for the iPad. It harkens back to the golden age of cinema going and presents a great number of films at specific showtimes throughout the day, just like a real repertory theatre.

Sascha Modersitzki has launched Cafe World Notification 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The $0.99 app allows users of the Facebook game Cafe World to optimize their gaming experience by setting notifications for game-related events. With Cafe World Notification, users enter the duration of the next game event for Cafe World. The app then sends a pop-up notification, alerting them when it’s time to get back in the game.

288 Vroom has introduced The Sherlock Holmes Collection for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 collection is packed with with 48 original Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The interface is designed with a dark caste on a stormy night.

Dirty Edge has presented Xtreme Sports: Biker 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The $0.99 app takes players on a first-person 3D thrill ride of off-road biking through five racing environments — Forest, Mountain, Urban, Winter, Park — across 25 levels.

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced online interactive licensing agreements with both MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM) — the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball — and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). The agreements grant Konami the rights to incorporate official Major League Baseball teams, club marks, and active Major League Baseball player names and likenesses into its MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 App which is now available for iPhone and iPod touch for US$7.99.

Chris Mayer has announced Brain App 1.3 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The $0.99 app presents rapid-fire math problems in quick succession to exercise the brain. Version 1.3 sports new photo-backdrops and a glossy new user interface.

Innowebtech has released Dropozoid 1.2 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 puzzle game is in the vein of Doodle Jump, Unblock Me, Simon: Classic, Bejeweled and Line Up.
