It employs barcode scanning technology to allow users to add any item imaginable to their gift registries or wishlists with a single zap of their iPhones.
idealSky Software has announced PaperFinance 1.0, a $2.99 personal finance tracker for iPhone OS devices. It features an outside-the-box interface, skipping the standard tap-to-do-everything paradigm in favor of a swipe-based design.
Go! Tax Canada has created a free iPhone app for filing your personal income taxes, anytime, anywhere. Personal information is submitted through the app and tax documents are photographed by the iPhone and submitted. Your personal tax return is then prepared and e-filed by Go! Tax Canada, an authorized e-filer with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Mac-Chi has introduced two iPhone apps: WhoPaste and WhoP-G. WhoPaste creates records in Apple’s Contact app, which runs on the iPhone. WhoP-G creates records in Google’s Contacts application, which runs in the cloud. iPhone users can copy text from any application and then launch either WhoPaste or WhoP-G both of which recognize company names, job titles, phone numbers, email addresses, urls, and postal addresses. The new contact is previewed allowing for editing any of the information. The apps are US$3.99 each.

Beanheads Consulting has released Sort Shots 1.1, an update of the $4.99 photo-finding software for the iPad. You can tag images with personalized keywords, ratings, favorites or type of media allows for instant searches. You can also select additional tags for more refined results that can be shared via slideshows or uploaded to Flickr, Picasa, Facebook and Twitter.
ProRattaFactor has unleashed Touch Attack! Games 1.2, an update to their $0.99 memory and reflex family game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Actually, it’s a collection of mini games that’ll test your reflexes and memorization skills.
MaxNick has rolled out iCurl 1.0.1, an update of their $0.99 iPhone/iPod touch game. It’s a one or two player game similar to shuffleboard. It’s played on a flat ice curling sheet, and players slide round stones towards bull’s eye targets at either end. Two teammates may use brooms to sweep the ice in front of the moving stone.
