Universal Audio releases EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverb

Universal Audio, a manufacturer of audio hardware and UAD-2 powered plug-ins for Mac and PC, has released the EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverb plug-in for the UAD platform.

It replicates the sonic signature of three different EMT 140 plates formerly installed at the Plant Studios in Sausalito, California, and is licensed and endorsed by EMT Studiotechnik as the world’s only authentic EMT plate reverb emulation, says EMT President Jules Limon. Available for US$199, the EMT 140 includes three distinct plate models and original EMT 80 Hz input Shelving Filters or custom aftermarket Martech Low-Cut Filters

The EMT 140 also sports Pre Delay, Low and High Shelving Filters, Wet/Dry Mix, Balance and
Width controls with Hard Bypass via the lighted EMT power icon. Plus, it includes Modulation controls to add additional movement to the stereo field.

The EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverb plug-in is available as part of the new UAD Software 5.6.0 release. UAD Software v5.6.0 is available as a free download to Mac and PC users worldwide at
