Rentals.com — a resource for single-units, apartments and houses for rent nationwide — has announced its Rentals.com App is now available from the Apple App Store. The free app gives users the ability to search Rentals.com listings from their iPhone or iPod touch.

Augmented Reality has released Poynt for the iPhone. The free app connects iPhone users to local businesses, people, restaurants and movie theaters, offering detailed listings, location information and augmented reality.

TruffleSoft has introduced xSolve 1.0, an US$0.99 custom calculator utility for the iPhone and iPod touch. It lets users automatically create their own custom solutions. Enter a formula, set any desired optional settings and xSolve will create a custom utility.
