Apple looking for senior interactive web developer

Apple has posted a job opening (http://jobs.apple.com/index.ajs?BID=1&method=mExternal.showJob&RID=48783&CurrentPage=1) for a senior interactive web developer. The person hired will “help redefine advertising on mobile devices.”

Here’s some info from the job posting: “The Senior Interactive Developer will be responsible for the front end web UI development of compelling, interactive digital advertising experiences. We’re looking for individuals with a proven track record of developing high profile customer-facing projects under demanding timelines. Bonus points for having experience developing for the iPhone browser and/or applications. This is a hands-on position where the Senior Interactive Developer will be involved in client discussions, proof-of-concept coding, working with and adding to the existing framework, production deliverables and more.

“Strong web technology fundamentals are a must, but you have more. You’ve worked with code libraries and frameworks and have extended them to suit your needs, sometimes creating your own. You constantly look for new ways of creating a compelling user experience. You’re a fast learner and once a technique is learned, eager to make it your own. You don’t just think of “a way” to code something, you think of the “right way”. Your code is elegant, efficient and well commented. You’re able to listen, participate in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.”
