Singular Software’s PluralEyes update adds support for Sony Vegas

Singular Software, developer of automation applications for
post-production, has announced that its flagship product PluralEyes
1.1 for Final Cut Pro has expanded its support for non-linear editing
applications to include Sony Vegas Pro.

Designed for time-conscious video professionals, PluralEyes offers
workflow automation tools for analyzing media content and
synchronizing audio and video clips, including DSLR (digital single
lens reflex) camera images. The new PluralEyes plug-in for Vegas Pro
provides an array of features for managing multi-camera, multi-take,
and dual-system audio productions; including a level audio option,
preserving the order of clips, and clip locking for seamless
integration into existing workflows, says Bruce Sharpe, CEO, Singular
Software.

The PluralEyes application accelerates the workflow for multi-camera,
multi-take and dual-system audio productions, he adds. By analyzing
audio information, PluralEyes synchronizes audio and video clips
automatically, without the need for time code, clappers or other
special preparation. Optimized for fast performance on both Mac and
PC platforms, PluralEyes supports both Vegas Pro and Final Cut Pro.

Until Jan. 31, PluralEyes for Vegas Pro is available at a special
introductory price of US$119 (it’s regularly) via the Singular
Software web site (http://www.singularsoftware.com). A 30-day demo is
available for download.
