Aleratec pledges full support for Snow Leopard

Aleratec (http://www.aleratec.com) — a developer and manufacturer of
solutions for the USB, Flash, HDD, Blu-ray, DVD CD, duplicating, and
DVD/CD publishing markets — says it’s putting its full support
behind Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”) by offering a software upgrade
application program that integrates the leading LightScribe
duplicators.

The Aleratec RoboRacer LS Duplex Win/Mac is a fully-automated, DVD/CD
publisher that allows the user to “Burn, AutoFlip, Burn” the disc
using Aleratec’s LightScribe technology. The input and output hoppers
can handle up to 100 DVD or CD discs. It’s capable of multiple
unattended direct to disc LightScribe labels and disc copies. Just
load it with 100 blank LightScribe discs, use your computer to select
the disc image and label with the Aleratec Disc Publishing Suite.
Enter the number of published discs needed and DVD/CD RoboRacer LS
Duplex will automatically produce DVD/CD copies with silk screen
quality labels and no operator intervention.

For years its customers have requested Mac OS support for LightScribe
duplicators and now Aleratec is the first duplicator company to throw
its full weight behind this initiative, says Perry Solomon, President
and CEO.of Aleratec. Working closely with Charismac Engineering,
Aleratec is now able to offer software support to the Mac market, he
adds.
