OWC announces memory upgrades for new iMacs

has announced OWC DDR3 1066MHz Memory Upgrade
Kits up to 16GB for the new iMac 21.5-inch and
27-inch desktop computer models announced by
Apple last week. The company says they offer cost
savings of up to 56% on same size upgrades from
Apple.

OWC Memory Upgrade Kits up to 16GB for the new
iMac 21.5-inch 3.06GHz and 3.33GHz; iMac 27-inch
3.06GHz, 3.33GHz, 2.6GHz i5, and iMac 27-inch
2.8GHz i7 2009 models are:

° OWC 4GB DDR3 Memory Kit (2 x 2GB matched memory modules) — US$87.99;

° OWC 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (2 x 4GB matched memory
modules) — $475.99 (you can add to existing 4GB
for 12GB total memory; this upgrade isn’t
available as a factory option).

° OWC 16GB DDR3 Memory Kit (4 x 4GB matched
memory modules) — $949.99 (this upgrade isn’t
offered as a factory option for 21.5-inch models).

OWC also offers a memory trade-in rebate program,
which offers up to $45cash back for Apple factory
iMac memory modules.
