Griffin updates iTalk app for iPhone, iPod touch

Griffin Technology has updated iTalk
(http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/italk), a sound recording
app for the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and second generation iPod touch. This
app — which allows users to create high-quality recordings, and then
transfer the recordings to a Mac or PC — is now available in lite
and premium editions.

iTalk Premium contains the full set of features; iTalk Lite is a
simplified, free version of the recorder. With the former, users may
choose between three quality settings, rename and recall recordings,
and navigate forward and backward through the recording with new
enhanced transport controls. Recorded AIFF files may also be copied
and transferred to a computer via email, another new addition to the
app.

iPhone 3GS users can email files up to 10MB, with iPhone 3G, iPhone
and iPod touch able to send files up to 5MB. Larger files can be
transferred over Wi-Fi with Griffin’s free iTalk Sync software. The
latest iTalk version has also been tuned to increase performance and
improve memory usage.
In celebration of the new iTalk, iTalk Premium is on sale for
US$1.99. Both versions of iTalk are available for download at the
Apple App Store.
