several of its products, including Absynth, Guitar Rig and Kontakt.
Absynth is an US$79 semi-modular software synthesizer. Version 5.0
provides additional synthesis and effects features, as well as
overall improved audio quality, and offers an new way to create
complex sounds based on musical attributes.
Guitar Rig is an $199 amp and effects emulation system for guitarists
and producers of all styles and genres. Version 4 — due next month
— sports speaker emulation technology and more.
Kontakt is an $399 software sampler. Version 4 adds “Authentic
Expression Technology,” sample compression, an extended studio-grade
sound library complete with a convenient new database system, and
more.
