partnered with professional sample-based musician Jason Forrest to
create a mobile application for the iPhone and iPod touch: Star6
(http://www.star6app.com).
It’s designed to “turn any music lover into an electronic musician.”
It’s a performance-grade sample instrument that lets novice musicians
experiment and play with a variety of sounds — whether its their own
uploaded samples or presets provided for free.
Star6 also also gives professional musicians and DJs a new tool for
live performance and music production. Star6 is now available through
the Apple App Store at an introductory price of US$6.99.
