SecureMac introduces new user group program

SecureMac.com (http://www.securemac.com./), an information security
company known for its malware defense solutions and security web site
for Mac OS X computers, has announced a new resource and presentation
program for interested Mac-related user groups.

In response to a “recognized community need for increased security
awareness,” SecureMac.com has prepared a resource kit designed for
local user groups, including all the materials needed to create a
group presentation on Macintosh Security and SecureMac’s flagship
software, MacScan, according to SecureMac President Nicholas Raba.
Along with Mac security white papers, the kit includes a ready-made
presentation in Keynote and Quicktime format, as well as a copy of
MacScan for presentation purposes, demo CDs for all user group
members, and a retail copy of MacScan to be used as a fundraiser
prize for the group.

Group organizers can sign up for the User Group Program at
http://macscan.securemac.com/mugrequest/media_pack.php. The program
is open to anyone who can provide proof that they are an organizer
for a recognized Macintosh User Group.
