Nova media offers new 3G modem for Mac OS X

Nova media (http://www.novamedia.com) has unveiled iCON 431, a 3G USB
modem with memory stick functionality for Mac OS X computers. The
iCON 431 supports most kinds of mobile connection speeds and can be
used worldwide.

It has a silver/black color scheme and features a microSD card slot
so can be used as a memory stick with up to 8GB memory, says Jan
Fuellemann of nova media. The iCON 431 supports download rates with
up to 7.2 Mbit/second and upload rates with up to 2 Mbit/s. For
future compatibility, it’s upgradeable to support high upload speeds
with up to 5.76 Mbps.

The iCON 431 includes the Internet connect wizard launch2net for Mac
OS X, which offers a one-click connection to the Internet without the
need to enter cryptic configuration details. launch2net already
includes connection settings for most mobile network providers
worldwide and displays time and data consumption of mobile online
sessions.

The iCON 431 is available for approximately US$219. It requires Mac
OS X 10.4.11 or higher.
