New Evolis printers are Mac compatible

Evolis, which specializes in plastic card personalization solutions,
is making its new range of card personalization solutions compatible
with Mac OS X.

The company’s products include: monochrome and four-color process
printing (photo-quality), graphic personalization (pictures, logos,
texts, barcodes), lamination with holograms, data encoding (magnetic
stripe, smart cards with and without contact). The Tattoo2 range is
designed for single-sided personalization of color badges, singly or
in small quantities. The solution targets SMEs, schools, clubs,
associations and event organizers.

The Pebble and Dualys color printers benefit from various encoding
options and provide advanced card personalization (single or
dual-sided) in a single pass: access cards for hospitals and
companies, multi-feature school IDs, transit passes, etc. Securion
makes it possible to personalize and laminate badges that require
premium security, such as driving licenses or official identity
cards. Quantum, a semi-industrial printer, personalized badges in
color (single or dual-sided) and in volume.

Evolis now offers new drivers to make its entire range of printers
compatible with Mac OS X. The new printer drivers are compatible with
Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) and are available as a free download from
the Evolis web site (http://www.evolis.com).
