Big Stone Phone (http://www.stone.com/iPhone/) has released Gesture
1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s an app that lets you turn
your photos and snapshots into digital paintings just by dragging
your finger over the photo.
Gesture translates your movements into paint strokes using a sampled
color from the photo below. You can view your masterpieces in
landscape mode, add and delete paintings, and share and view
paintings from other Gesture users online
With Gesture you can also save your painting to Photos, play back
your painting like a movie, “pointilize” your photo and zoom in for
detail work. The app offers unlimited undos and the ability to load
any image on the Internet
Gesture 1.0 costs US$4.99 and is available at the Apple App Store.
