Sound Byte 3.6.0 for Mac OS X adds remote control option, more

Black Cat Systems (http://www.blackcatsystems.com) has released
version 3.6.0 of Sound Byte, which turns your Mac into a” cart
machine” for playing sound recordings, such as music and special
effects.

The latest version of Sound Byte adds a remote control option
allowing another computer to control Sound Byte over a LAN or the
internet, the ability to toggle a serial port handshake line to
control an external device such as a radio transmitter when sounds
are playing, options to set the playback speed and pitch, as well as
several bug fixes.

Sound Byte is targeted to DJs, radio stations and audio productions,
to quickly and easily play a variety of recorded sounds, such as
jingles, advertisements, songs, sound effects at sporting events, and
more. Sound Byte is available for Mac OS X as well as for Windows. It
comes in three versions, starting at US$39.
