BeFit for Mac OS X is new nutritional, calorie tracking app

Jon Brown Designs and Chad Jones have announced BeFit for Mac OS X
(http://www.jonbrown.org/bf.php), an app that combines the USDA
health and food database on Nutrition Facts, and the ability to track
calories and more in one interface. With it you can make as many
lists or food groups as you like.

BeFit has Spotlight search built in. It has over 7,000 food items
from the USDA Database. and streamlined nutrition tracking.

BeFit requires Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5. It’s Universal Binary so runs
natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

You can try BeFit for free with a limited database, create unlimited
lists and enjoy full nutritional data. The full version boasts the
full database containing over 7,000 food items and costs US$15.95.
Current customers of the Calorie Tracker and Calorie Counter will
receive 50 percent off and get free updates until version 3.0.
