Mesa Dynamics Revamps Beholder, Web Image Search Client

Mesa Dynamics Revamps Beholder, Web Image Search Client for OS X

Washington, DC — July 31, 2008 — Mesa Dynamics today released Beholder
3.0, a completely overhauled upgrade to its dedicated image search client,
originally released in 2003.

Beholder searches for images on the web, automatically querying web search
engines and presenting thumbnail results in a navigable contact sheet with
URL and other link details. Designed for quick image inspection and
discovery, Beholder also supports extended web searches via the scanning of
image host pages, web directories and RSS feeds.

Beholder 3.0 is rewritten from scratch as a Universal application for OS X
and features a new WebKit-based image retrieval engine and a powerful new
search engine plugin format. Additional improved features include size and
safe search options for Google Image Search, sorting by image file and
pixel size, and batch downloading of image results.

A demo version of Beholder (which adds a watermark to images saved to disk)
is available today for download at (http://www.mesadynamics.com) and
requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or later. Currently registered users of
Beholder can upgrade to Beholder 3.0 for free, and a single-user license of
Beholder is available for $19.95 for new users.
