BVS Releases Software for 802.11 Wi-Fi Monitoring From Anywhere

METUCHEN, New Jersey. — March 31st, 2008 — Berkeley Varitronics Systems,
Inc. has released remote management software for the Yellowjacket 802.11
B/A/N/G Wi-Fi Analyzer receiver.

Remote Manager is a powerful data monitoring and reporting application that
utilizes BVS 802.11 receiver technology from anywhere in the world over
standard 10/100 ethernet connections. The software controls the
Yellowjacket 802.11 B/A/N/G receiver remotely, collects RF spectrum and
packet data in realtime and stores it in relational database powered by
Microsoft’s SQL Server Express.

“Remote Manger software allows Yellowjacket customers to perform basic RF
studies over the internet without the need to spend time on site collecting
and sifting through tons of data.”, says Scott Schober, BVS President & CEO.

Remote Manager software creates comprehensive Excel and PDF data reports
over various time periods for a temporal overview of any 802.11b/a/n/g
network as well as unknown or suspicious 2.4 or 5 GHz sources of
interference. Remote Manager software is available now for $1,150 so call
1-888-737-4287 or visit www.bvsystems.com for your copy today. Software
requires Yellowjacket 802.11b/a/n/g Wi-Fi receiver and includes ethernet
adapter and data cable to collect and process RF & packet data.

The Yellowjacket 802.11b/a/n/g Wi-Fi Analyzer is a handheld receiver system
that sweeps 2.0-4.0 GHz & 4.9-5.9 GHz while demodulating and measuring all
802.11 packets discovered including those for the IEEE 802.11b, a, g, h and
n standards. The Yellowjacket’s calibrated receiver technology allows it to
perform complete spectrum analysis within +1 dBm accuracy and sports pro
features such as user selectable thresholds, traces, peak holds and more.
Yellowjacket utilizes an iPAQ for touch-screen interface and easy display
and selection of any access point’s SSID, MAC, RSSI, multipath, data rate,
SNR and more.
