Mark/Space Annouces The Missing Sync for Symbian

MARK/SPACE ANNOUNCES THE MISSING SYNC FOR SYMBIAN

Award Winning Mac Synchronization Solution To Embrace Latest Symbian OS
Smartphones from Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson

LOS GATOS, Calif. – September 19, 2007 – Mark/Space, Inc. today announced
the latest addition to the company’s highly-rated Missing Sync family of
synchronization products for Mac OS X: The Missing Sync for Symbian.
Expected to ship in the first quarter 2008, The Missing Sync for Symbian
will provide a robust synchronization environment for owners of Symbian
based devices from Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson, including such
popular devices as the Motorola Z8, Nokia N95 and Sony Ericsson P1
smartphones.

According to company president and CEO, Brian Hall, “Symbian OS based
phones have long been popular in Europe, and more recently, Japan. With
worldwide shipments exceeding 50 million units in 2006, and our long
history of serving those markets, the time had come for us to embrace this
platform. Our Missing Sync products are known for their ease of use and
multimedia features that make mobile devices shine with a Mac, and we think
the capabilities of the latest Symbian OS handsets are a perfect match.”

Built on the same technology that has garnered 4.5-mice ratings from
Macworld magazine, Missing Sync for Symbian will synchronize contacts,
calendar events and tasks, as well music, photos, files and video. Built-in
support for Apple’s Sync Services technology means that in addition to iCal
and Address Book, information can also be synchronized with other Sync
Services-savvy applications such as Microsoft Entourage 2004 and Chronos’
SOHO Organizer.

Consumers will appreciate the multimedia capabilities of The Missing Sync
for Symbian, which will interface directly with Apple’s iPhoto and iTunes
applications as well as support import and export of video. Users will be
able to choose iPhoto albums in The Missing Sync to be resized and
downloaded to the handset for mobile viewing. Photos taken with the
device’s camera will be automatically imported into iPhoto or a folder on
the Mac. The Missing Sync’s iTunes plugin will let the user select
playlists of unprotected music and podcasts to be downloaded to the
handset’s memory card. If the playlist changes, those changes will then be
mirrored on the handset during the next sync. Video taken on the handset
can be imported to a folder on the Mac. Simply drag and drop DRM-free
QuickTime videos onto The Missing Sync, to encode and transfer them to your
Symbian device for mobile playback.
