MediaWorks 6.2 now Universal, Vista Compatible

Universal MediaWorks 6.2 Now Available
6.2 Vista Compatible

PLEASANTON, Calif., September 17, 2007 – Interactive Solutions, Inc. today
announced that a Universal binary version of MediaWorks (formerly
MovieWorks Deluxe) is now available. In addition to running natively on
Intel-based Macintosh computers, there have been over 100 minor
improvements and bug fixes to the Macintosh version of MediaWorks Author
including new menu options to export to iPhone=81 and AppleTV=AE. The Macint=
osh
version of MediaWorks Animator now supports drag and drop of multiple
files, free rotation and has a new checkbox to show an outline of the
previous frame. The Windows version of MediaWorks has been updated to run
on Vista, and the Help system has been significantly improved on both the
Macintosh and Windows versions. A new Getting Started document is also now
available as well as 15-day Trial versions. The update is free for
registered customers of version 6.0 or higher. Educational Lab Pack
upgrades prior to 6.0 are available for 50% of the SRP.

“We are very excited that MediaWorks is now optimized for the latest
Operating Systems and computers,” says Bill LaCommare, President,
Interactive Solutions, Inc. “In addition to running three times faster on
Intel-based Macintosh computers, the numerous other improvements we’ve made
make this a ‘must have’ update for anyone using the Mac version or for
anyone running Vista. If you’re using other consumer-level multimedia
software products, and are looking for the ‘next step’ without breaking the
bank, MediaWorks is a product that should be strongly considered!”

“MediaWorks offers more creative flexibiliy with unlimited layers and
timing control than other low-end multimedia movie, slide show and
presentation programs, without the learning curve and expense of high-end
multimedia authoring and movie editing programs”, says David Hentschel
legendary record producer for Elton John, Genesis and many others. “Now
that it runs natively on Intel-based Macs, I will be able to create
interactive DVD-ROMs like the one I just finished using MediaWorks in even
less time! I had a lot of fun using MediaWorks, and was very pleased with
the final results, so I agreed to be part of a MediaWorks’ success story
that is featured on their website!” View a trailer from David’s project.

MediaWorks combines simple-to-use video, sound, animation and paint/photo
editors with a powerful multimedia authoring program. Create
precisely-timed presentations and a variety of different kinds of movies
with unprecedented ease, speed, quality and affordability. Deliver finished
presentations on a computer or data CD/DVD, or use your exported movies in
other applications or deliver on a consumer DVD player, iPod=AE, iPhone=81,
Apple TV=AE, YouTube or other web pages. The five integrated applications
(Author, Paint/Photo, Sound, Video & Animator) work together seamlessly
making it easy to incorporate analog (AV) or digital (DV) video, buttons,
photos, graphics, animations, 3D, narration, MIDI, MP3, CD music, text and
titling, and even Virtual Reality (VR) movies into stunning,
professional-quality multimedia projects.

MediaWorks MSRP is $79.95, and installers for Mac OS X and Windows are
included on a single CD. MediaWorks is distributed by Academic Distributing
in the Education market, and is also now available from MacMall/PCMall. Lab
Packs are available in 2, 5, 10, 25 and 100 unit configurations. MediaWorks
requires a 500+ MhZ PC running Windows ME, 2000, NE, XP or Vista, or a
Power Macintosh with Mac OS X 10.2 or better. A CD or DVD drive is
required, 100 MB or more of available hard drive space and 256 mb or more
of RAM is recommended. An analog to digital video capture product, or DV
camcorder connected via IEEE-1394 (FireWire) or USB-2 are optional. For
