Google data APIs Objective-C Client Library

April 16, 2007 – Today Google released a product of special interest
to Mac developers: the Google data APIs Objective-C Client Library.
Now users of Objective-C–the primary development language for the
Mac–can easily access Google data APIs, including those for Google
Base, Blogger, Google Calendar and Picasa Web Albums.

With the Google data APIs Objective-C Client Library, developers can
integrate Google services into their own applications with code that
plugs seamlessly into XCode projects and Cocoa applications for the
Mac. The possibilities are practically endless. For example,
developers might:

* Write notifiers for any Google data API service

* Create GUIs to browse Picasa Web Albums or Google Base

* Upload event notifications to Google Calendar

Part of Google’s ongoing effort to support the Mac developer
community, this release follows on the January launch of MacFUSE,
Google’s open-source mechanism that gives OS X developers the ability
to organize almost any data into a file system. Earlier this month
Google also released a Mac version of Google Desktop, an application
that enables Mac users to find and access information on their
computers and across the web as quickly and easily as possible.
