Sonnet Technologies today announced several new products at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2007 in Las Vegas. Sonnet Fusion D800RAID 8-drive and Fusion D400RAID 4-drive Serial ATA disk array storage systems, designed for use in film and video editing, and professional broadcast applications. Each Fusion D800RAID and D400RAID system boasts a powerful PCI Express RAID host adapter that supports RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, 10, 50, and JBOD configurations, a quiet enclosure that contains hot-swappable drive modules equipped with Enterprise/RAID edition SATA drives, and robust locking cables. Fusion RAID series storage systems will be available in May.
