Reuters: ‘EMI and Apple agree anti-piracy software deal’

EMI has said it has entered into a deal with Apple iTunes that would remove DRM restrictions from its music catalog, reports Reuters. “The new higher quality DRM-free music will complement EMI’s existing range of standard DRM-protected downloads already available,” EMI said in a statement at its joint press conference in London with Steve Jobs.
