MacDrive 7 brings Vista compatibility

Mediafour Corporation today launched MacDrive 7, a major new release of its Windows/Mac OS cross-platform file-sharing software. Two of the most significant features of MacDrive 7 are compatibility with Windows Vista and the ability to analyze and repair Mac disks. MacDrive makes it possible for Windows users to access all types of Mac disks, including external USB and FireWire drives. It can also partition and format Mac disks, burn Mac CDs and DVDs, and works with Boot Camp to provide access to Mac OS X system drives. MacDrive is priced at US$49.95 and will be available later this month.
