Sofa Control 2.0 beta released

CASE Apps today released the first beta version of Sofa Control 2.0, which gives users the ability to control their applications with the Apple Remote Control. Out of the box Sofa Control supports a large number of popular applications like VLC, Safari, PowerPoint and more. Version 2.0 features: support for applications has been greatly enhanced and more functionality can be triggered; specialized support for those giving presentations; Sofa Safari, a collection of Web links the company provides for a specific topic — Sofa Control makes it easy to explore these Web sites with your Remote Control. Sofa Control requires Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later and a Mac that ships with the Apple Remote Control. A Sofa Control 1.0 license, with a free upgrade to the final 2.0, is available for US$9.99.
