Ilexsoft today announced the release of HighDesign 1.7, a major update to the company’s professional CAD and illustration application. Version 1.7 is now a Universal Binary application compatible with both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs, which is up to four times faster than previous versions, notes the company. Design and edit tools have been enhanced by the addition of the Object Info inspector that simplifies numerical editing, the new Construction Lines and Measure tools, seamless symbol editing, and dozens of new symbols. HighDesign is available in a Standard version for US$149.95 and Professional version for $349.95. A free trial is also available.
