New Mac store to open in Beijing on October 31

A new store selling Macs and iPods will open in Beijing, according to reports from MacInChina, a site specializing in Apple in Greater China, part of the Beijing Macintosh Union. The Kewei Digital Jianwai SOHO Store will be Beijing’s largest Apple-related store to date, notes the site. It will not be owned by Apple; rather, it will be from Beijing Kewei Computer Co. Ltd., an Apple Authorized Reseller. The Beijing Macintosh Union will provide coverage of the opening. In the run-up to the opening (which the BeiMac Union will cover on its Web site), there is an online activity from the reseller where people are invited to submit their works online for a prize draw at the opening. More is available from the MacInChina report.
