24U SimpleCode Plug-In 2.1

Tuesday, September 26, 2006 – 24U Software released 24U SimpleCode
Plug-In 2.1. The plug-in is designed to correct badly imported
characters from FileMaker 6 Pro and to call old-style external
functions with custom encodings.

What is new in version 2.1?

– Runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel based Macs

– Works with FileMaker 7.0, 8.0 and 8.5

– Product activation now works well also in Windows

What is 24U SimpleCode Plug-In?

24U SimpleCode Plug-In addresses two main text encoding issues for
solutions migrated from FileMaker 6 to FileMaker 7 and 8. It fixes
text that was previously incorrectly converted to Unicode, and also
lets you use old-style FileMaker 6 compatible plug-ins with
non-English languages.

With 24U SimpleCode Plug-In, text encoding issues are no longer an
excuse for not upgrading to FileMaker 7 or 8.
