Dassault Systemes today announced new capabilities for enthusiasts of Cosmic Blobs software, 3D graphics software for kids. The Cosmic Blobs Lab Rat Edition Deluxe Version (US$39.99) adds faster performance and new features such as surface paint and image stickers to the standard version. The Cosmic Blobs Expansion Pack Collection ($19.99) is a boxed set compilation of previous Cosmic Blobs thematic add-ons, including decals, animations, music and other multimedia objects. The new products are available as hybrid CDs with Windows and Mac OS X versions on the same disk. They are compatible with all educational forms of the software, including Lab Packs and site licenses.
