Native Instruments announces new products

Native Instruments today announced a number of new products. Included in these are: MASSIVE (US$339), a next-generation software synthesizer with unique sonic character, outstanding audio fidelity, vast flexibility and an innovative, highly accessible interface; ABSYNTH 4 (US$339), the fourth generation of its award-winning semi-modular software synthesizer that is renowned for its unique evolving sounds and textures; BATTERY 3 (US$219 in October), a significant revision of its popular drum and percussion sampler; FM8 (US$339), the long-awaited successor of the popular FM7 software synthesizer, with an enhanced high-resolution audio engine, intelligent sound morphing, added performance features and a new KORE-compatible preset manager, the FM8 makes the timeless and highly expressive musical potential of FM synthesis available in a thoroughly modernized instrument that fits perfectly into today’s studio and stage setups; and KOMPLETE 4 (US$1,499), which incorporates the latest ABSYNTH 4, BATTERY 3 and FM8 versions, which add significant creative capabilities over their predecessors and offer increased integration with Native Instruments’ host system KORE and its KoreSound format. All of these products are expected to ship next month.
