Musicast.org takes the wraps off of Musicast 1.0

Musicast.org today unveiled Musicast 1.0, a new application for sharing iTunes playlists with buddies. Developed by Andrew Kazmierski and Mark Davis, Musicast is a sharing application designed for friends. You can broadcast select playlists from your iTunes library and have it accessible from any ordinary Web browser. Buddies browsing your Musicast can subscribe to it as a podcast and listen to your music right in iTunes. Musicast will even tell you which of your friends are browsing and how popular each of your cast’s songs, artists, and playlists are. Musicast requires Mac OS X 10.4 and is priced at US$18. A free demo version is also available.
